Key responsibilities include:
Managing drivers including daily brief/debriefs, holidays, and timesheets
Planning and routing vehicles efficiently to maximise fleet utilisation
Securing backloads and supporting fleet profitability
Responding to customer queries and maintaining high service levels
Building and managing subcontractor relationships
Ensuring compliance with drivers’ hours, tachograph regulations, and company policies
Supporting continuous improvement across transport operations

What we’re looking for:
✔ Previous experience within a transport operations environment
✔ Strong geographical knowledge and understanding of the transport market
✔ Excellent communication skills with drivers, customers, and internal teams
✔ Good problem-solving ability
✔ Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
✔ Competent IT and transport systems skills

Desirable: CPC qualification and ADR awareness.
